Delegation at the Sao Paulo 2017 Games: 121 athletes
Buenos Aires, the capital city of Argentina, hosted the last edition of the Youth Parapan American Games in 2013. Over the course of the competition, Argentina proved itself to be a continental force, finishing in third place in the overall medals table – 38 gold, 51 silver and 44 bronze (133 in total). The Argentinian delegation at the previous edition of the Games included 143 athletes, with their athletics team alone having 53 athletes.
