Delegation at the Sao Paulo 2017 Games: 135 athletes
Colombia has a certain tradition in this competition, having hosted the second edition of the Youth Parapan American Games in 2009 in Bogotá. Four years later, in Buenos Aires, Colombia took a delegation of 59 athletes and won 37 medals: 12 gold, 11 silver and 14 bronze. Their performance was enough to finish in 5th place in the overall medals table, behind Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and Venezuela.
