Delegation at the Sao Paulo 2017 Games: 112 athletes
Venezuela hosted the very first edition of the Youth Parapan American Games in 2005 in the city of Barquisimeto. The host nation finished the competition in first place on the overall medals table. In 2013, Venezuela sent 123 athletes to Buenos Aires and won 66 medals: 26 gold, 18 silver and 22 bronze. Their performance earned Venezuela 4th place on the overall medals table.
